Paul: Why is Paul in the Bible?

One of the most significant events recorded in God's Word is the conversion of Saul of Tarsus, later known as the apostle Paul. The conversion of Paul marked the beginning of the unfolding of the mystery of God's purpose and grace for the past 2,000 years.

•             Paul wrote more books of the New Testament than any other author.
•             Most of the book of Acts chronicles Paul's salvation and ministry.
•             Paul was the first church planter in this time of grace.

Yet the questions must be asked: Why Paul? Why is he in the Bible? If Christ already had twelve apostles that He had trained for over three years, why was there a need for another apostle? Why do the twelve fade into obscurity in the book of Acts and this “new apostle” dominates the scene? These questions go unasked and unanswered in most churches today. Listen to this series and find out the answer to the question, “Why is Paul in the Bible?”

This may be the most important series that has been taught in the many years that Pastor Dan has been at CrossRoads.
