Lessons Learned from the Pharisees
The Pharisees were a religious group in Jesus' day that were known for their religious zeal. They were very reclusive and, if you weren't a fellow Pharisee, they wanted nothing to do with you. The problem was that most of the Pharisees talked a good talk, but their hearts were wicked and far away from God. They were very judgmental of other people, looking down their noses at others who weren't in their group.
I think we all are capable of acting like the Pharisees, don't you? There is a little bit of Pharisee in each of us. There are many valuable lessons we can learn from this group called the Pharisees about how NOT to live.
